How seat pricing works
Pay for active use on paid plans.
Core and Pro combine a monthly platform fee with a monthly charge for each active user. An active user is any team member, excluding company-expense-only users, whose account was enabled by an administrator for any part of the billing month. If an account was enabled even briefly during the month, it counts as active for that month. Accounts that remained disabled for the entire month are not billed. Paid plans allow unlimited named-user accounts.

Questions about plans and billing
How is my monthly bill calculated?
Your monthly bill combines the plan's monthly base price with its per-active-user price. The calculation is base price plus active users multiplied by the per-user price. For example, Core is $300 per month plus $30 for each active user during that billing month.
Do I pay for every account I create?
No. Paid plans allow unlimited named users, while billing is tied to active use rather than the total number of accounts created. A user who was not active during the billing month is not included in that month's per-active-user charge.
Who counts as an active user?
An active user is any team member, excluding company-expense-only users, whose account was enabled by an administrator for any part of the billing month. What's included in Free Crew?
Free Crew includes up to two named users and one client, along with time entry, expense entry, client and project coding, raw Excel export, and email support. It does not include receipt uploads, approval workflows, invoice generation, or client-ready billing reports. Paid plans remove the named-user and client limits.
